Lane Closures to Continue on Gene Autry Trail—USE ALTERNATE ROUTESOngoing construction activity with lane closures is planned as crews continue repaving work along key sections of Gene Autry Trail. These improvements are part of the SR111 Roadway Project, a broader effort to enhance road safety, improve driving conditions, and extend the lifespan of the roadway.

Repaving work continues on Gene Autry Trail beginning February 19, with construction starting at the intersection of Ramon Road and Gene Autry Trail, extending north to Vista Chino. Once the northbound work is complete at Vista Chino, construction crews will close the southbound inside lane on Gene Autry Trail and repave to Ramon Road.

No construction from Thurs., Feb. 13 – Tues., Feb. 18 due to weather and holiday weekend. Caltrans does not permit lane closures before and after a holiday. Driveway and turn lanes continues to be closed on Gene Autry Trail at The Springs shopping plaza through Friday, Feb. 21

Driveway Closure Extended: The driveway on Gene Autry Trail to access The Springs shopping plaza will be closed through February 21, 2025.

Driveway Closure: The driveway on Gene Autry Trail to access The Springs shopping plaza will be closed on Monday, Jan. 27, for approximately two weeks.

Crews will start the week in the intersection of SR111 and Via Olivera. Work will continue in both directions on Vista Chino, then move to southbound Gene Autry Trail on January 30.

Construction begins on Monday, Jan. 13, on the outside lane of E. Palm Canyon Dr. between Golf Club Dr. and S. Broadmoor Dr. Work will continue on outside lanes of westbound (WB) Vista Chino in the construction area, followed by the intersection of Via Olivera, then eastbound (EB) on Vista Chino, followed by southbound (SB) Gene Autry Trail.
